Vanessa Friedman aptly put regarding Tommy Hilger’s Spring 2018 collection in Milan that after  “…the social-media friendly smoke and mirrors clear, it’s still about clothes.  PFDC Sunsilk took place recently in Lahore and it certainly had its winners and losers.

Fahad Hussayn’s inspired collection was infused with Italian minimalism with relaxed but tailored silhouettes.  The neutral colours with monochromic ensembles lent the collection an element of classicism. A collection one can easily wear during summers and still feel dapper.

Republic by Omar Farooq was a Supreme-inspired collection with athleisure silhouettes. However, the layering was done a bit haphazardly. The pieces were a must-have for the urbanite man who likes to play while working.

Rici Melion’s  collection was inspired by the seminal poem Ulysses – ironically the collection falls far too short in harnessing the conceptual force behind the collection.  The only decent looks were the formal suits, but lacked any sartorial craftsmanship. The conceptual outfits were way too outlandish and in bad taste.
